ADOPTED - TONKA

This lovely girl was promised a home but she has been let down.  Tonka is a teenager and a proud mom of five beautiful puppies who were all adopted.   She was kicked out of a home with her puppies in the middle of nowhere in the freezing cold and she saved them, she managed to feed them and raise them.

Now she is all alone and desperate for her new people.
Tonka is about 11 months old, fully vaccinated and will be neutered.  She is a small to medium sized dog at around

15 kg.  She is house trained, very attached to people and just wants to cuddle up with someone.  All she wants is to be part of a family, she craves people.  She will cry (not for hours but a few minutes) when left alone and wait by the door, and then is an explosion of happiness when she has company again.

She is perfectly ready for her new home home, she is in a foster home at the moment with another dog so she is used to going for walks and meeting people and children.  She met a group of kids on one of her walks and a child with Downs Syndrome liked her very much,  picked her up and she just continued to kiss him.  Tonka is still playful like a puppy but she seems to know she doesn't have people of her own.  She will make a wonderful family member and a loyal and loving best friend.
