ADOPTED-NORA :SP 5 year old small to medium mixed breed female needing a forever home

Most of the dogs in Romania are either dumped on the streets, dumped in public shelters which are horrendous places, born on the streets having to fend for themselves and face all kinds of dangers. Starvation being the biggest, beatings, torture, being hit by cars or even killed for money. The streets are a cruel cruel place especially winter time. Some also suffer horrendous cruelty from so called animal loving owners and the lucky ones are taken to private shelters where they are looked after until homes can be found for them.

Nora was taken from the streets to a private shelter. Nora may or may not have been a stray, she could have simply been dumped by her previous owners, which is often the way. Dogs are literally thrown on the streets when their owners no longer want them, or if they have stolen a little food off a table or even if they are moving house and do not want to take the dog with them.

Nora needs a family, she is a lovely girl. Very sociable, loves walks and loves to play. She gets on well with other dogs too, but does like to be the boss now and then, so a firm but gentle owner would be advised. It is not known how well she gets on with children or cats, so a family with children over 7 would also be advised.

Nora just needs a loving home now that her tender years are creeping up on her, a home where she will be loved and cared for and in return she has lots of love to give.
