SPIKE

ADOPTED - Spike - 2 year old Spaniel Cross - Saved from Death Row with only hours to spare - Now looking for a forever home and a family to love him

This is Spike, an incredible friendly little dog who through no fault of his own found himself abandoned in a kill shelter in Croatia. In this country dogs are seen as vermin, something to be abused and killed with no worth for there lives. When dogs loose there puppyness they are cruelly thrown onto the streets to fend for themselves, the majority do not make it. The majority are deliberately killed by the locals, run over or starve to death.
When our charity was made aware of Spike, he litterally had hours to live. The very next day he was due to be euthanised, and in Croatia the euthanasia is not always humane. Our netowork of Croatian rescuers immediately visited the shelter and got Spike out. Taken into foster with the groups own veterinarian, Spike was given a full vet check, a good meal and was vaccinated etc.

It was found that this little guys loves the world, he adores human companionship, gets along very well with other dogs and also cats , in general is such a lovable dog that it beggars belief to how anyone could have thrown this little dog away as though he was garbage.

Now he is dreaming of a forever home, somewhere he can call his own, where he will never be thrown away and only receive care and love. In return this bundle of fun will fill your home with laughter and happiness and will make the most incredible new family member.

If you can make Spikes dreams come true please contact our charity as soon as possible. Though fostering in Staffordshire, we welcome potential adopters from all across the UK.

Spike is:
Microchipped
Fully Vaccinated ( Inc Anti Rabies)
