ADOPTED - SARA 2 year old female possible springer/pointer mix needing a forever home

Most of the dogs in Romania are either dumped on the streets, dumped in public shelters which are horrendous places, born on the streets having to fend for themselves and face all kinds of dangers. Starvation being the biggest, beatings, torture, being hit by cars or even killed for money. The streets are a cruel cruel place especially winter time. Some also suffer horrendous cruelty from so called animal loving owners and the lucky ones are taken to private shelters where they are looked after until homes can be found for them.

Sara found wandering in a field very skinny and under nourished. She was taken to a private shelter where they took her for blood tests and they came back clear, poor Sara was skinny purely due to lack of food.

It is thought Sara may have had an owner before as she walks great on a leash, has no issues with anything around her and is a very obedient girl. no one has ever came to claim her so she is now looking for a loving home.

Sara gets on well with other dogs but shows a little anxiety come meal times, which is understandable as before she was found, she had not eaten for a  good while.

She still has a way to go to get back to normal weight, but has a good appetite and gaining weight nicely.
