LILAC

ADOPTED - LILAC 17 week old male mixed breed pup needing a forever home

Most of the dogs in Romania and surrounding areas are either dumped on the streets, dumped in public shelters which are horrendous places, born on the streets having to fend for themselves and face all kinds of dangers. Starvation being the biggest, beatings, torture, being hit by cars or even killed for money. The streets are a cruel cruel place especially winter time. Some also suffer horrendous cruelty from so called animal loving owners and the lucky ones are taken to private shelters where they are looked after until homes can be found for them, there is also racism amongst dogs over there, yes you read right racism, the colour of the dog or cat can determine whether it lives or dies, black ones especially as they are deemed unlucky !!!

Lilac was born in the Radauti public shelter, not the best best to be born the shelter can be a dangerous place for young dogs and puppies.

They risk being attacked by the older dogs or even killed in fights for food plus they share their kennel with up to 50 other dogs at a time.

Lilac is now in safe foster along with several other puppies and growing into a handsome young man.

He is a sweet little boy who loves every one and every thing and doing what puppies do best, getting up to mischief.

All Lilac needs now is that forever home, where he can grow and learn. Where he will be loved and cared for and will have lots of love to give in return.

With being so young he should adapt to family life pretty quickly and will be eager to learn.
