Una is a lovely dog who does not have much time left. She is in the public shelter and the dogs have only 60 days to be adopted before they are killed. Una's death date is 26.12.13 so she is in desperate need of a home to save her life. She is only 7 months old and was brought into the pound with massive injuries to her limbs, she is fully recovered now so it would be very sad if she spent the last two months of her life recovering only to be killed.
Una may have escaped a miserable existence with starvation, cruelty and danger on the street when taken to the public shelter but life in the pound is horrific by any standard. The food is given very sparingly, fights are
frequent and care and love are non-existent apart from when the volunteers visit to feed the dogs. They get them ready to travel and promote them in the hope they are adopted.
Una is 9 kg and not fully grown but will be small sized. She is a beautiful and friendly girl who will make a wonderful family member and companion. She is great with people and other dogs. Please get in touch urgently if you can offer Una a home, she hasn't much time left and deserves to live.
