It is hard to believe when you look at the gorgeous dog above that only a while ago this poor lad was lucky enough to have been picked up off the streets by our network of amazing rescuers. He was trying to survive near some railway lines hoping that the commuters would drop some food and he would be lucky enough to get to it before the larger more aggressive dogs would see him off and again another day his tummy would be empty.
Also it was only a matter of time for dog with such small legs to make it across that train track in time before being hit by a train, loosing a limb or even like so many in that country their life.
As soon as this boy was rescued he was rushed to a fosters home where he was fed, cleaned and shaved. Then taken to the vet for a full exam, vaccinated, deflead and dewormed.
This amazing dog will be coming to foster in just 2 weeks to our charity, we hope to find him a forever home before that. But if he is not lucky enough he will be fostered in Staffordshire but enquirers welcome from all across the UK.
This lad, considering the hardship he has undergone, the terror, the fear, the terrible loneliness, the cruelty of some horrible humans that would kick him, chase him away and throw rocks at him, despite all this Indie adores human company. Gets along very well with dogs and cats and in general is such a sweet gentle little dog.
We know this little dog is not a spring chicken, but he is healthy and so full of life. He really does deserve that forever home and really will make a family home complete.
Please consider Indie if you are looking to add to your family, this little lad has gone through so very much surely he deserves the love and kindness only a family can bring into his life.
If you are that family or wish to know more about Indie, please contact our charity as soon as possible
