ADOPTED-COLOR 5 month old female lab cross needing a forever home
Most of the dogs in Romania and surrounding areas are either dumped on the streets, dumped in public shelters which are horrendous places, born on the streets having to fend for themselves and face all kinds of dangers. Starvation being the biggest, beatings, torture, being hit by cars or even killed for money. The streets are a cruel cruel place especially winter time. Some also suffer horrendous cruelty from so called animal loving owners and the lucky ones are taken to private shelters where they are looked after until homes can be found for them. There also racism in the dog kingdom believe it or not, yes you read right racism, many dogs and cats are abandoned simply because of their colour, black ones are deemed to be unlucky !!!
Color abandoned or lost on the streets, found an abandoned bunker where a lot of dogs stay for shelter and because there are people who feed them. She is only 5 months old and should be in a loving home being cared for, the bunker or the streets is not the place to be for any dog never mind the young ones.
Color was terrified of people at first, but now she has realised the people who come to feed her are not going to harm her, she will happily go to them for fusses. She gets on well with the other dogs in the bunker, though it is not known how well she gets on with children or cats, so a house hold with children under 7 would not be advised or a house with cats. She is getting more and more confident with people every day and the people taking care of her are raising funds to have her vaccinated an microchipped.
Color deserves the chance of a loving home where she can feel safe, secure and loved.
As you can see from the photo she no longer has a fear of people and will happily let you pick her up for cuddles. Her mother was a full breed Lab and her owner could not be bothered to find homes for her pups.
Fully vaccinated to legal requirements for travel
Spayed if old enough to be done
Dewormed
Deflead
Chipped
EU passport.
