ADOPTED -LUCA:IB 2 year old border collie medium size needing a forever home.

Luca was taken to the Radauti public shelter by the dog catchers. He was neglected by his owner and a very sad little boy when he was brought in. The public shelters are no place for any animal, they can not get the time and attention they need, but the staff and volunteers do the best they can for them.

Luca would have had to fend for himself if left on the streets, facing a brutal harsh life. Scavanging for food, risking torture, being killed or seriously injured by traffic, no dog deserves that kind of life.

Luca is a shy boy until he gets to know people and once he does he is quite happy to be fussed and cuddled. He is very good with the other dogs sharing his kennel, he is friendly towards the staff and volunteers. It is not known how he reacts to children or cats, so a familywith older children would be advisable. Luca just deserves the chance of a loving home and has the potential to be a loyal loving companion.
