In Romania approx 87% stray animals will be targetted as victims for animal abuse and cruelty. These animals are seen as a disease to be tortured, raped and killed. So please, consider these little guys when considering adopting a rescued pet, the need to give these furry angels a loving safe home has never been greater.

HOPE:DD Aged between 1 and 3 yrs mixed breed male needing a forever home
TUESDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 2013
Most of the dogs in Romania are either dumped on the streets, dumped in public shelters which are horrendous places, born on the streets having to fend for themselves and face all kinds of dangers. Starvation being the biggest, beatings, torture, being hit by cars or even killed for money. The streets are a cruel cruel place especially winter time. Some also suffer horrendous cruelty from so called animal loving owners and the lucky ones are taken to private shelters where they are looked after until homes can be found for them. There also racism in the dog kingdom believe it or not, yes you read right racism, many dogs and cats are abandoned simply because of their colour, black ones are deemed to be unlucky !!!
Hope is living in a field being fed by kind passers by. He looks forward to people coming to feed his and is very friendly with them, and as you can see by the picture he does allow people to stroke and pet him. He gets on with the other dogs in the field but does have to grab the food quickly as the other dogs will gang up on him.
Hope is at risk of being shot as well as the other dogs in the field with his, as there are people out there that think it is ok to use them for target practice.
He desperately need to be away from there and in a new home. Hope will not be house trained with living outside and will not be used to home comforts, so an experienced dog owner would be advisable, some one who has time and patience to spend with him.
Fully vaccinated to legal requirements for travel
